Cho Seung-Hui =No Motive

News is reporting that investigators in the VA Tech shootings still cannot find a motive for Cho's actions.
It is apparent that the school is lacking in protection for the students. It is also apparent that the school officials ignored the warning signs marked by Cho's behavior as reported by his instructors.
When viewing the video and other articles of Cho, I feel he is filled with rage at a system that couldn't help him. Didn't acknowledge him unless they made fun of him.
It appears that new policy and procedures need to be developed for all school campuses.
The authorities at VA Tech said they responded to Cho's "stalking" actions but did ANYONE take the time to perhaps find out how to help this enraged sole?
He was bullied and he didn't know how to handle it. There should be mandatory training on the effects of bullying, methods to report it, as well as sanctions for doing it.

Cho Seung-Hui

I read on one of the news website's that our soldiers want to know why there has been so much publicity about the VA massacre, when our troops are killed everyday! Even Bush called over to Afg and told them to lower the flag to half mast in honor of the school victims!! Why don't we do this for our soldiers??
I certainly don't want to discount the tragedy at VA Tech. I just want the people to remember our soldiers and their families as well.

Cho Seung-Hui

The more and more I read about Cho, the more I think his actions could have been prevented. At least some of them. When some people are bullied, especially for a long time, their only release is rage and/or taking their own life.
What I can't understand is why "bullying" is an accepted form of behavior. Why aren't there laws to protect people from this kind of behavior? We developed "stalking" laws.
If people would stop and think before they laughed at someone, made fun of someone, spread gossip about someone, they perhaps the victims of bullying will decrease. Yes, Cho was a very sick individual, and what he did is unforgiveable. But don't some of the students need to examine their own hearts, to determine why they make fun of people? Is it their own insecurities? News reports that students say he didn't have nice clothes. So what? They say his family was poor. He had a credit card to buy weapons didn't he? Where did that come from?
In Florida, when classes begin, the doors are locked. Why isn't that the cases in all schools? Why aren't there metal detectors, or security cubes on these school canpuses?
That campus should have been locked down immediately after the first incident! Cho apparently had time to go to the post office and mail that package to NBC! He apparently had enough knowledge that no one would stop him from returning to the campus and continuing on his rampage!
Just like the killing at NASA, we become complacent in our worlds.
